The contoured seat and compound curves on the backrest make it extraordinarily comfortable. If you or your guests have ever struggled getting out of the deep sloping seat of an Adirondack chair, you will appreciate this design. They are a breeze to stand up from but still maintain the relaxing mildly reclined aspect. These chairs are very solidly built and generously sized. The seat is16 inches high at the front, 23 inches wide and 19 inches deep. The backrest rises 34 inches above the seat. Moving these around your deck or yard is effortless thanks to the rear wheels that engage when you tip the chair backwards. The chairs are constructed exclusively of solid cedar and all hardware is stainless steel, so they will last a very, very long time. They are available with or without a penetrating oil finish. Unfinished, the cedar will age and naturally gray over time. With the premium penetrating oil finish*, the cedar will maintain its freshly milled color and condition for years. These chairs are 100% handcrafted with uncompromising attention to detail.
